What a clever idea! This site lets you print out disposable paper rulers when you need them. I like their suggestion that you print on an overhead transparency as well, or cardstock to make your new ruler a little more sturdy.

Hi, if you need a printable ruler that can also be used to draw with check out www.printaruler.com. They have instruction for how to fold their printable ruler. It actually works quite good.
